- EpiCentric Staff Consultant

Staff Consultant

Staff consultants come onboard with us to learn the craft of consulting through an apprenticeship model. Staff consultants are highly-capable when it comes to executing tasks; in this position, they will learn how to solve problems strategically.


Knowledge
Staff Consultants are embedded in consulting and driven to succeed. They research and gain knowledge on their own time and apply this knowledge to all facets of consulting responsibilities. Along the way, they learn hard and soft skills required to be a consultant, along with industry and client “best practices” and processes.

Delivery
Our Staff Consultants are proactive, positive, and problem solvers. Staff Consultants have the ability to consume information, adapt to changes, learn new concepts and processes, and apply knowledge learned. They learn how to use tools, produce deliverables on time, follows task requests, asks questions and seek clarity when they do not understand.

Sales
When it comes to sales, our Staff Consultants understand the basics of business relationships and importance of a professional network. In this position, Staff Consultants learn the client-to-consultant relationship.

Leadership & Culture
Staff Consultants are focused and dedicated to ongoing improvement. They have the ability to follow direction and are good communicators. They are expected to exhibit EpiCentric core values in work and demeanor. Staff Consultants follow the direction of Senior Consultants, and understand that being stretched—while uncomfortable—produces growth.

To qualify, candidates must have: A bachelor's degree and approximately 2–3 years of client-facing, consulting related work experience and a willingness to travel up to 100% to meet client needs.

Senior Consultant

Our Senior Consultants confidently lead project workstream activities. Leadership and independence are paramount in this position. The Senior Consultant produces deliverables, facilitates meetings, and mentors Staff Consultants. The Senior Consultant is hands-on, promoting efficiency and innovation for our clients. They are proactive in nature and can operate independently with limited oversight.


Knowledge
Our Senior Consultants have extensive experience and knowledge. They lead by example and demonstrate core EpiCentric values. Senior Consultants assume next steps and provide valuable contributions. They are able to create deliverable templates with minimal supervision. Senior Consultants impart their knowledge to Staff Consultants to ensure proper growth and participate in EpiCentric centralized knowledge repository.

Delivery
Our Senior Consultants are practiced leaders who are relentless, high-energy, professional, detailed, and driven. They remain level-headed in high pressure or stressful situations. Senior Consultant have the ability to delegate, problem solve, identify gaps and inefficiencies, and rebuild accordingly. They produce fairly defect-free deliverables, require minimal instruction on completing tasks, and demonstrate the ability to operate independently with clients. Senior Consultant are expected to always be extremely prepared to facilitate and lead client meetings and sessions. In this position, Senior Consultants invest the time to meet daily and weekly objectives.

Sales
Senior Consultants have high emotional intelligence, influence, polish, and self-esteem. It is evident in their words and actions that they believe in themselves and in EpiCentric. They have the ability to harvest relationships and identify opportunities because they understand the full consulting firm lifecycle—and the role that sales plays in its success. Senior Consultant can identify opportunities for client work and grow relationships do current clients want to extend the engagement relationship.

Leadership & Culture
Senior Consultants exude dedication, leadership, trustworthiness, and structure. They have the ability to coach, mentor and provide direction to staff and junior client team members. Senior Consultants are able to create a basic plan-of-attack and manage it with minimal supervision. They inspect work products and provide clear guidance on how staff and junior team members can improve their quality of service. Our Senior Consultants demonstrate EpiCentric’s core values, ensure timing of delivery meets client needs and objectives, and does not confuse being a “consultant” with being an employee.

To qualify, candidates must have: A bachelor's degree and approximately 3-5 years of client-facing, consulting related work experience and a willingness to travel up to 100% to meet client needs.
